Heralall (Hera) Nandlal, CPA, CA, CFA, MBA, FCCA, CPA (CO)
Hera Nandlal is a professional accountant with in excess of twenty five (25) years professional accounting experience. He has worked in several countries with three (3) of the big four global accounting firms, namely, KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte & Touche. In Canada he was with KPMG, Toronto, for approximately six years. He was a Senior Manager when he left that firm.
25 Years Experience
Hera has experience working on a variety of clients and industries, from small retail / distribution / manufacturing organizations to major companies with international presence. His experience includes approximately fifteen (15) years in public accounting. Outside of public accounting he has several years of senior executive experience, having been the Chief Financial Officer of two regional airlines in the Caribbean, one of which is LIAT, The Caribbean Airline, the largest regional airline in the Eastern Caribbean. In addition, he played a key role in the launch of another Caribbean regional airline, Caribbean Star Airlines, where he was also the Chief Financial Officer.
Hera was also responsible, for a period of approximately four years, for the financial reporting and accounting policies research of one of the largest, if not the largest, US auto finance companies in Canada, Ally Canada (formerly GMAC Canada).
Hera is a Canadian Chartered Accountant (Ontario), a Chartered Financial Analyst (USA), a Certified Public Accountant (Colorado, USA), a Chartered Certified Accountant (UK), and holds an MBA from the University of Birmingham (UK).
